8 Best Swish (Wishlist King) App Alternatives for Shopify

8 Best Swish (Wishlist King) App Alternatives for Shopify

Looking for a Swish (Wishlist King) Alternative?

Swish, formerly Wishlist King, is a popular Shopify app for letting shoppers save products across the store and come back to them later. Its back-in-stock, low-stock and price-drop emails, though, go out only through Klaviyo flows, and its price follows the store's Shopify plan.

So, we compared seven alternatives on their wishlist features, the alerts they can send and what else each one covers beyond the wishlist. Vitals is our app, and we've listed its gaps along with the others.

What Is Swish (Wishlist King) Shopify App?

Swish (Wishlist King) is a Shopify app for adding a wishlist that follows shoppers from the collection page to the cart. Shoppers can save items without an account, and their list links to their customer account when they log in.

Here's what you can do with Swish:

  • Wishlist buttons: Add a save button to product pages, buttons on collection cards, a header link and a floating wishlist link, plus a wishlist page.
  • Named lists: Let shoppers keep several lists, such as a birthday list or a holiday list, and save the exact variant they picked.
  • Klaviyo alerts: Send back-in-stock, low-stock, price-drop, reminder and welcome emails through Klaviyo flows built on Swish events.
  • Lead capture: Show a login or sign-up dialog at the right moment, so wishlist users become customer accounts.
  • Headless and mobile: Connect a Hydrogen storefront or a Tapcart mobile app, and build on the Swish API.

Where Swish stands out is its setup service. Every plan includes free installation and customisation, so the wishlist matches the theme without the merchant touching code. It suits brands that already send most of their email through Klaviyo.

Reviews most often praise that white-glove setup and a support team that replies quickly.

How Much Does Swish (Wishlist King) App Cost?

PlanMonthly
Basic Shopify$19
Grow$29
Advanced Shopify$49
Shopify Plus$99

Prices from swish.app on October 16, 2026, with a 30-day free trial. Every plan has every feature, and the plan is set by the store's Shopify plan.

Why Shopify Merchants Look for Swish (Wishlist King) Alternatives

Swish (Wishlist King) holds a 4.9 rating from 288 reviews and carries the Built for Shopify badge. Still, merchants who switch away from it mention these reasons:

  • Restock, low-stock and price-drop emails need a Klaviyo account, since Swish has no email sender of its own
  • The price follows the store's Shopify plan, from $19 on Basic Shopify to $99 on Shopify Plus, however many shoppers use the wishlist
  • The App Store listing shows a free Basic plan while swish.app prices Basic at $19, and a 2023 review describes a charge after the trial
  • Save for later in the cart is a code customisation rather than a setting
  • Swish is a wishlist app only, so reviews, bundles and discounts each need another app

Switching makes the most sense for stores that want the wishlist and its restock alerts on one bill with the rest of their store apps.

How We Compared the Swish (Wishlist King) Alternatives

We read each app's live Shopify App Store listing, its help docs and its changelog, where available, on October 16, 2026, and took every rating and review count from the listing that day.

We compared the apps on:

  • App type: standalone or all-in-one
  • Core wishlist features: where the save buttons appear, guest lists, sharing, alerts to shoppers and wishlist data
  • Store areas covered: product page, collection pages, header, cart and customer account
  • How many separate apps each one replaces
  • Scripts added to the storefront and theme integration
  • AI features and MCP support
  • Setup, from the listing, the docs and what merchants report in reviews

Short Answer

Vitals - All in One App is the best Swish (Wishlist King) alternative for most stores.

  • It offers a wishlist with guest saves, sharing and a header count, plus a Back in Stock app that sends its own restock emails or SMS, while Swish sends its alerts only through Klaviyo
  • It includes 40+ apps, such as reviews, bundles and discounts, in one subscription of $29.99/month
  • It replaces multiple single-purpose apps that you would otherwise install and pay for every month

Swish's Basic Shopify plan costs less than Vitals. In return, the Vitals subscription also covers the restock alerts, reviews and bundles a Swish store would add as separate apps.

1. Vitals - All in One App

Vitals - All in One App on the Shopify App Store

Best for: Stores that want Wishlist, Back in Stock, Product Reviews and Bundles plus 40+ apps in one subscription

Rating: 4.9 (2,992 reviews) | App type: All-in-one | Free trial: 7 days | Built for Shopify: Yes

Vitals is our app. For $29.99/month in a single subscription, it gives a store a wishlist plus 40+ other apps, including reviews, bundles and discounts.

The Vitals Wishlist app adds a heart to product cards and the main product image, so shoppers can save an item from wherever they find it. Guests can save without logging in, and their items move into their account when they sign in, where the list syncs across devices.

The wishlist page shows each item with an Add to Cart button, a low-stock note and rating stars from Vitals Product Reviews. When a saved product sells out, another Vitals app, Back in Stock, collects shopper requests and sends an email or SMS alert once it returns, which Swish leaves to Klaviyo flows.

Key features:

  • Hearts on collection, home and search cards and on the main product image
  • A full-width Add to Wishlist button or an inline heart beside Add to cart
  • A header icon with an item count
  • Saving without an account, with guest items kept for a year and moved into the account at login
  • A wishlist page with Add to Cart, "Add all to cart", a low-stock indicator and rating stars
  • Built-in sharing, display rules and translations of every wishlist text
  • Wishlist reports with the Top 10 saved products, an Events log, analytics and CSV export, and no cap on saves

Pros:

  • Restock alerts by email or SMS come from the Vitals Back in Stock app, with no email platform needed
  • Vitals MCP connects Claude and ChatGPT, so you can change Vitals apps by chat, and Shopify Sidekick can answer questions about the Vitals Wishlist app
  • One support team answers for the wishlist, the reviews and every other app on the store
  • Stores move many apps to one subscription (e.g., La Niche de Jules replaced 13 single-purpose apps with one Vitals plan)

Cons:

  • The wishlist doesn't email shoppers yet, so there are no reminders or price-drop alerts, and restock alerts need the separate Vitals Back in Stock app
  • Works on Shopify only

Wishlist by Square, from Square Apps, keeps the wishlist inside the store and connects to no email platform. Shoppers can save from product pages and cards, share a list by link or email and buy from the wishlist page, and the app is free.

  • An "Add All to Cart" button once three in-stock items are saved, plus a low-stock label

Cons:

  • Sends no alerts of any kind, by email or through Klaviyo

How we counted it:

  • Vitals - All in One App replaces up to 40+ single-purpose apps, starting with a wishlist app, a back-in-stock app, a reviews app and a bundles app
  • Wishlist by Square stands in for one wishlist app that sends no alerts
  • Wishlist ‑ Wishify stands in for one basic wishlist app
  • Wishlist Hero stands in for a wishlist app and a price-drop reminder app
  • SWishlist: Simple Wishlist stands in for one simple wishlist app
  • Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites stands in for a wishlist app, a back-in-stock alert app and a gift registry app
  • Wishlist by Flits stands in for a wishlist app and a back-in-stock alert app
  • XB Wishlist stands in for a wishlist app, a save-for-later app and a stock alert app
  • Swish (Wishlist King) stands in for a wishlist app and a save-for-later app, with its alerts sent from Klaviyo

A Swish store that adds a reviews app and a bundles app pays three developers, on top of its Klaviyo account. On Vitals, the wishlist, the restock alerts, the reviews and the bundles share one subscription.

When Should You Stay on Swish (Wishlist King)

Swish still fits better in two cases.

  • You build on Hydrogen or another headless storefront, or sell through a Tapcart mobile app
  • You want Klaviyo flows for welcome, reminder, price-drop and low-stock emails, plus a sign-up prompt that turns wishlist users into customer accounts

Switch when you want a wishlist whose restock alerts don't depend on a Klaviyo account, on the same subscription as your reviews and bundles.

How to Migrate From Swish (Wishlist King)

Swish holds your shoppers' saved lists, and its alerts live in Klaviyo flows built on its events. Move the lists first, then deal with the flows.

  1. Ask Swish's team for a CSV export of customer wishlists; its listing names import and export, though we found no self-serve export in its docs. Guest lists saved only in a shopper's browser can't be moved
  2. Install Vitals - All in One App, turn on the Vitals Wishlist app and the Vitals Back in Stock app, and send the CSV to the Vitals team, who can import it
  3. Turn off the Klaviyo flows built on Swish events, and let the Vitals Back in Stock app handle restock alerts; if you rely on Swish's price-drop, low-stock or reminder flows, keep a separate email app for them
  4. On a duplicate theme, place the hearts, the product page button and the header icon, remove Swish's app embeds and any Code Access changes such as save for later, and point menu links at the Vitals wishlist page
  5. Save, share and log in with a test account to check that guest items merge, then publish the theme and uninstall Swish

Shopify stores such as La Niche de Jules, a French pet shop, swapped 13 single-purpose apps for one Vitals subscription.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the best Swish (Wishlist King) alternative for Shopify?

Vitals - All in One App is the best Swish alternative for most stores. It's the only all-in-one app that includes 40+ apps, such as a wishlist, back-in-stock alerts, reviews and volume discounts, in one subscription. Since it's our app, its entry names what it doesn't do.

2. Why do merchants switch from Swish (Wishlist King)?

Its alerts need Klaviyo, and its price follows the store's Shopify plan rather than how much the wishlist is used. Its listing and website also disagree on whether the Basic plan is free.

3. How do Vitals and Swish compare on wishlist features?

Both offer guest wishlists that join the customer account at login, sharing, a header link and wishlist analytics. Swish adds named lists, variant-level saves, save for later and Klaviyo alert flows. Vitals adds rating stars and a low-stock note on the wishlist page, and its Back in Stock app sends restock alerts itself.

4. Can Vitals replace Swish and other apps at the same time?

Yes, for the wishlist and restock alerts. The Vitals Wishlist app covers saving and sharing, and the Vitals Back in Stock app sends restock emails or SMS. Reviews and bundles come on the same subscription. If you depend on Swish's named lists, save for later or price-drop emails, keep an app for those.

5. How do these Swish alternatives affect store speed?

Every app on a store can add scripts of its own. Vitals loads its wishlist and its other apps from one script, while Swish next to a reviews app and a bundles app means three. We didn't speed-test these apps, so check your own pages before and after a change.

6. Which Swish alternatives have AI features or MCP support?

Not all of them. Vitals MCP connects Claude and ChatGPT so merchants can change Vitals apps by chat, and Shopify Sidekick can answer questions about the Vitals Wishlist app. Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites writes reminder email text with AI and shows AI product recommendations. Flits' listing says Shopify Sidekick can report on its wishlist. We found no built-in AI or MCP support for Wishlist by Square, Wishify, Wishlist Hero, SWishlist, XB Wishlist or Swish.

7. Which Swish alternatives send wishlist alerts without Klaviyo?

Not all of them. Wishlist Hero and Hulk send price-drop and low-stock emails themselves, and XB Wishlist can use its own mail or the store's SMTP server. Flits sends back-in-stock emails, and Vitals sends restock alerts through its Back in Stock app. Wishify sends reminder emails on its top plan, while SWishlist and Wishlist by Square send none.

8. How do I move my wishlists from Swish to Vitals?

Ask Swish's team for a CSV of customer wishlists, and the Vitals team can import it into the Vitals Wishlist app. Then switch off the Klaviyo flows built on Swish events, remove its app embeds and code changes on a duplicate theme, and test before you uninstall.
