8 Best Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites App Alternatives for Shopify

8 Best Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites App Alternatives for Shopify

Looking for a Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites Alternative?

Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites, formerly Hulk Advanced Wishlist, is a popular Shopify app for letting shoppers save favorites, build gift lists and get emails about the items they saved. Every plan, though, sets a monthly quota of wishlist items, and saving switches off once the quota is used.

So, we compared seven alternatives on how shoppers save and share, which alerts each app can send and which other store jobs each one takes on. Vitals is our app, which is why its gaps appear here as well.

What Is Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites Shopify App?

Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites is a Shopify app for letting shoppers save, organize and share the products they like. Guests can save without an account, and the app can email shoppers when a saved item drops in price, comes back in stock or gets low on stock.

Here's what you can do with Hulk Wishlist:

  • Wishlists and boards: Let shoppers save exact variants, keep several boards or a gift registry, and move cart items to Save for Later.
  • Sharing for gifting: Let shoppers share a list by email, link or social networks, and let recipients add items to their own cart.
  • Reminder emails: Send timed reminders and back-in-stock, price-drop and low-stock emails from the store's own sending domain.
  • AI features: Write reminder email text with AI and show AI product recommendations under the wishlist.
  • Channels and B2B: Show wishlists on Shopify POS, connect Flow, Klaviyo and Zapier, and show wholesale prices through HulkApps' B2B app.

Where Hulk Wishlist stands out is its range. Registries, four kinds of alert email, POS and wholesale pricing sit in one wishlist app, which suits stores that sell to both retail and trade buyers.

Reviews most often praise its support staff, whom merchants name for setting up features, and the mix of an AI chat with human support.

How Much Does Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites App Cost?

PlanWishlist items a monthMonthly
Basic1,000$4.90
Growth5,000$9.90
Essential15,000$17.90
Pro25,000$24.90
ScaleUnlimited$49.90

Prices from hulkapps.com on October 16, 2026, with a 14-day free trial. Each website plan also has a lifetime cap on saved items, and the App Store listing shows only Growth, Pro and Scale.

Why Shopify Merchants Look for Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites Alternatives

Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites holds a 4.9 rating from 141 reviews and carries the Built for Shopify badge. Still, merchants who switch away from it mention these reasons:

  • Each plan has a monthly quota of wishlist items, and its FAQ says saving is disabled once the quota is passed, until the store upgrades
  • Features are spread across tiers, with multiple boards on Growth, reports on Essential, POS on Pro and API access on Scale, and the website, listing and help center list different plans
  • Its theme files have to be removed from the app's Help & Support tab before uninstalling, since HulkApps can't clean the code afterwards
  • A June 2025 review says its script loaded on every page and its GA and Meta tags duplicated events and broke GTM tracking
  • Bundles, forms and order tracking are separate HulkApps apps, each with its own plan

Switching makes the most sense for stores that want fewer apps to manage, with the wishlist and the rest of the store on one subscription.

Short Answer

Vitals - All in One App is the best Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites alternative for most stores.

  • It offers a wishlist with no limit on saves, guest lists that sync at login and sharing built in, while Hulk stops new saves once a plan's monthly item quota is used
  • It includes 40+ apps, such as reviews, bundles and discounts, in one subscription of $29.99/month
  • It replaces multiple single-purpose apps that you would otherwise install and pay for every month

Hulk has a free plan, and its lower paid plans cost less than Vitals. Vitals costs more, and the subscription also covers restock alerts, product reviews and bundles, which HulkApps and other developers sell as separate apps.

Vitals - All in One App on the Shopify App Store

Rating: 4.9 (2,992 reviews) | App type: All-in-one | Free trial: 7 days | Built for Shopify: Yes

Vitals is our app. Its single subscription of $29.99/month covers a wishlist and 40+ other apps, from back-in-stock alerts to reviews and bundles.

The Vitals Wishlist app lets shoppers save as many products as they like, from hearts on product cards and the main product image. Guests can save without an account, and when they log in, their items join their account and sync across devices.

The wishlist page shows rating stars from Vitals Product Reviews and a low-stock note, with an "Add all to cart" button for shoppers ready to buy. When a saved product sells out, another Vitals app, Back in Stock, takes shopper requests and sends an email or SMS once it returns, an alert Hulk keeps on paid plans.

Key features:

  • Hearts on home, collection and search product cards and on the main product image
  • An Add to Wishlist button or an inline heart beside Add to cart, plus a header icon with an item count

When Should You Stay on Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites

Hulk Wishlist is still the better fit in two cases.

  • You sell to trade buyers and want wholesale prices shown on their wishlists through HulkApps' B2B app
  • Your shoppers build gift registries that friends open and buy from, and you want timed reminders with AI-written text

Switch when you want a wishlist that never stops saving at a quota, with restock alerts, reviews and bundles on the same subscription.

How to Migrate From Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites

Hulk Wishlist stores your shoppers' lists, its alert emails and the flows built on its events, and it leaves theme files behind unless you remove them first. Work through the steps in order.

  1. Export your wishlists from Hulk as a CSV with customer email, product, variant and list name; lists saved only in a guest's browser can't be moved
  2. Install Vitals - All in One App, switch on the Vitals Wishlist app and the Vitals Back in Stock app, and hand the CSV to the Vitals team, who can import it
  3. Set up restock alerts in the Vitals Back in Stock app, turn off Klaviyo, Flow and Zapier flows built on Hulk events, and keep a separate email app if you rely on Hulk's price-drop, low-stock or timed reminders
  4. If shoppers use Hulk's boards, gift registries or POS wishlists, keep an app that has them
  5. Remove Hulk's theme files from its Help & Support tab, then place the Vitals hearts, button and header icon on a duplicate theme
  6. Test saving as a guest and as a logged-in customer, publish the theme and uninstall Hulk Wishlist

Shopify stores such as Perk by Kate, an affirmation apparel brand in Singapore, cut 8 single-purpose apps down to one Vitals subscription.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the best Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites alternative for Shopify?

Vitals - All in One App is the best Hulk Wishlist alternative for most stores. It's the only all-in-one app that includes 40+ apps, such as a wishlist with no save limit, back-in-stock alerts, reviews and bundles, in one subscription. We make it, so its entry spells out what it doesn't do.

2. Why do merchants switch from Hulk AI Wishlist & Favorites?

Saving switches off when a plan's monthly item quota is used, and features are spread across five tiers that its website, listing and help center describe differently. Its theme files must also be removed by hand before uninstalling.

3. How do Vitals and Hulk Wishlist compare on wishlist features?

Both offer guest lists that merge at login, sharing, a header icon with a count and wishlist analytics. Hulk adds boards, gift registries, save for later, four kinds of alert email, POS and wholesale pricing. Vitals adds rating stars and a low-stock note on the wishlist page, restock alerts through its Back in Stock app and no limit on saves.

4. Can Vitals replace Hulk Wishlist and other apps at the same time?

Yes, for the wishlist and restock alerts. Saving and sharing move to the Vitals Wishlist app, and restock emails or SMS to the Vitals Back in Stock app. Reviews and bundles are part of the same subscription. If you depend on Hulk's registries, POS wishlists or price-drop emails, keep an app for those.

5. How do these Hulk Wishlist alternatives affect store speed?

Any app added to a store can bring its own scripts. Vitals loads its wishlist and its other apps from one script, while Hulk Wishlist next to a bundles app and a reviews app means three. We didn't speed-test these apps, so check your own pages before and after a change.

6. Which Hulk Wishlist alternatives have AI features or MCP support?

Not all of them. Vitals MCP lets merchants change Vitals apps from Claude or ChatGPT by chat, and Shopify Sidekick can answer Vitals Wishlist app questions. Flits' listing says Shopify Sidekick can report on its wishlist too. We found no built-in AI or MCP support for Wishlist by Square, SWishlist, Wishify, Wishlist Hero, XB Wishlist or Swish. Hulk uses AI to write reminder email text and to recommend products on the wishlist page, and has no MCP support.

7. Which Hulk Wishlist alternatives offer multiple wishlists?

Not all of them. Swish has named lists, XB Wishlist has multiple and collaborator lists, and Flits lets shoppers group saved items into collections. Vitals keeps one wishlist per shopper. We found no documented multiple lists for SWishlist, Wishify or Wishlist Hero, and Wishlist by Square gives each shopper a single list.

8. How do I move my wishlists from Hulk to Vitals?

Export a CSV of wishlists from Hulk, and the Vitals team can import it into the Vitals Wishlist app. Then remove Hulk's theme files from its Help & Support tab, set up the Vitals hearts on a duplicate theme and test before you uninstall.
