8 Best AfterShip Product Reviews Alternatives for Shopify [2026]

Looking for an AfterShip Product Reviews Alternative?
AfterShip Product Reviews, formerly Automizely Reviews, is a popular Shopify app for collecting product reviews and NPS scores after an order arrives. Its Essentials plan, though, includes 100 review requests a month, and Q&A, Google review snippets and referrals wait for Pro.
So, we compared eight alternatives on how each one asks for reviews, where it places them, what it covers beyond reviews and how many other apps it can take over. Vitals is our app, and it gets the same honest list of limits as every other entry.
What Is AfterShip Product Reviews Shopify App?
AfterShip Product Reviews is a Shopify app for collecting product reviews and customer feedback and showing reviews across the store. It comes from the developer of AfterShip Order Tracking, can time review requests to the day an order is delivered, and pairs reviews with NPS surveys.
Here's what you can do with AfterShip Product Reviews:
- Review requests: Send automatic request emails, reminders and follow-ups, schedule them on delivery, invite past customers and set exclusion rules.
- Review widgets: Show a reviews widget, star ratings on product and collection pages, an all-reviews widget, a featured review widget, a side tab and video reviews, with product groups sharing reviews.
- NPS surveys: Collect NPS scores through an order status page widget, and by email on the Pro plan.
- Rewards and referrals: Reward text, photo and video reviews at three levels with an Incentivized badge, and add referral campaigns on Pro.
- Google, Q&A and imports: Add Google review snippets, Q&A and cross-store syndication on Pro, show AI review summaries, and import from AliExpress, a CSV template or exports from Judge.me, Loox and Yotpo.
Where AfterShip Product Reviews stands out is its link to delivery. Requests can wait until the parcel arrives, and NPS questions appear on the order status page, which suits stores that already track shipments with AfterShip.
Customer reviews most often praise its automated collection and the free import of earlier reviews when Shopify retired its own reviews app, and 94% of its ratings are five stars.
How Much Does AfterShip Product Reviews App Cost?
aftership.com blocked our requests, so these prices come from the Shopify App Store listing on October 19, 2026, with no free trial. The listing doesn't price the higher request tiers inside each plan.
Why Shopify Merchants Look for AfterShip Product Reviews Alternatives
AfterShip Product Reviews has a 4.9 rating from 780 reviews and isn't Built for Shopify. Still, merchants who look elsewhere cite these reasons:
- Q&A, Google review snippets, referrals, NPS emails and AI review summaries all wait for the Pro plan
- Essentials includes 100 review requests a month and Pro 2,000, and the listing doesn't price the tiers above them
- Order tracking, returns and upsells are separate AfterShip apps, each billed on its own
- Its help docs say widget files stay in the theme code after uninstalling and have to be deleted by hand
- A March 2025 low-star review says billing went on after the app was removed, because the subscription stayed active
Switching makes the most sense for stores that want reviews, tracking and offers under one subscription instead of one AfterShip app per job.

- AI features and MCP support
- Setup, as described in the docs, the listing and merchant reviews
Short Answer
Vitals - All in One App is the best AfterShip Product Reviews alternative for most stores.
- It offers review ratings in Google search results and an AI Review Summary on one plan, while AfterShip keeps Google snippets and AI summaries for Pro
- It includes 40+ apps, such as reviews, order tracking, bundles and discounts, in one subscription of $29.99/month
- It replaces multiple single-purpose apps that you would otherwise install and pay for every month
AfterShip's Essentials plan is cheaper than Vitals, and Vitals also adds a usage fee once sales from conversion apps pass $1K a month. Against that, the same subscription includes order tracking and post-purchase offers, which AfterShip sells as separate apps, plus bundles and the rest of its 40+ apps.

How Many Apps Each Option Replaces
Each app adds its own code to a store's pages, and more of that code can weigh on load time. The table counts how many separate apps each option can stand in for.
How we counted it:
- Vitals - All in One App replaces up to 40+ single-purpose apps, starting with a reviews app, an order tracking app, a bundle app and a post-purchase upsell app
- CWILL(Trustoo) Product Reviews covers the work of a reviews app, a Q&A app and a review translation app
- Rivyo ‑ Product Reviews App replaces a reviews app and a Q&A app, then a loyalty or referral app for each add-on
- Okendo: Reviews & Loyalty counts as a reviews app, plus one loyalty, referral, quiz or survey app for each product bought
- Ryviu: Loyalty & Reviews App stands in for a reviews app and a Q&A app, with marketplace imports, and a points app with its add-on
- AG Product Reviews App & UGC takes the place of a reviews app and a testimonials widget
- Loox ‑ Product Reviews App replaces a reviews app plus a referral app
- Stamped Reviews & Loyalty takes over from a reviews app and an NPS app, with a loyalty app on its Loyalty plan
- AfterShip Product Reviews counts as a reviews app and an NPS survey app
AfterShip's reviews app alongside its tracking app and its upsell app is three scripts on the storefront. A single Vitals subscription covers the same three jobs from one script.
When Should You Stay on AfterShip Product Reviews
Two kinds of store are better served by keeping AfterShip Product Reviews.
- Your tracking and returns already go through AfterShip apps, and you want reviews from the same developer
- You want NPS emails and an NPS widget on the order status page, next to review requests timed to delivery
Switch when you want reviews, a tracking page, bundles and a post-purchase offer from one subscription and one support team.
How to Migrate From AfterShip Product Reviews
Your reviews, photos, videos, replies and NPS history sit in AfterShip, and some widget code stays in the theme after uninstalling. Save the data first and clean up the theme last.
- In AfterShip, go to Reviews, then All Reviews, and export to CSV; the file arrives by email within about 30 minutes. Export your NPS data too, and write down your custom questions, reward tiers, referral campaigns, product groups and Q&A
- Install Vitals - All in One App, turn on the Vitals Product Reviews app and import the CSV under From other review apps. Custom question answers won't carry over, and Vitals has no NPS or referrals, so keep the NPS file or a survey app if you rely on those scores
- Set request timing to after delivery, then add reminders and the review discount in the Vitals Product Reviews app. Vitals has no Q&A, so keep a separate app if your product pages need it
- If you use AfterShip Order Tracking, set up the tracking page in the Vitals Order Tracker app and update the tracking link in shipping emails. Rebuild bundles in the Vitals Product Bundles app and post-purchase offers in the Vitals Upsell Builder app; Vitals adds no offers inside Shopify's checkout, so keep AfterShip Personalization for those
- On a copy of your live theme, remove the AfterShip Star Rating and Review Widget blocks and add the Vitals review widget and star ratings. On vintage themes, delete AfterShip's widget files, such as asrv-star-widget.liquid, from the theme code
- Turn off AfterShip's request emails and any Klaviyo flows that use them, publish the theme, uninstall AfterShip Product Reviews and check in Shopify that its subscription has ended
Shopify stores such as Strapsology moved their app stack to one Vitals subscription.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the best AfterShip Product Reviews alternative for Shopify?
Vitals - All in One App is the best AfterShip Product Reviews alternative for most stores. It's the only all-in-one app that includes 40+ apps, such as product reviews, order tracking, bundles and post-purchase offers, in one subscription. Vitals is our app, and its entry spells out what it lacks.
2. Is AfterShip Product Reviews the same app as Automizely Reviews?
Yes. AfterShip Product Reviews was called Automizely Reviews, and its support replies were signed with that name until 2022. Some theme settings still show the Automizely name.
3. Why do merchants switch from AfterShip Product Reviews?
Many want reviews, tracking and upsells in one subscription, since AfterShip sells each as its own app. Others leave because Q&A, Google snippets and AI summaries wait for Pro, or because Essentials includes only 100 review requests a month.
4. How do Vitals and AfterShip Product Reviews compare on features?
Both time review requests to delivery, collect photo and video reviews, import other apps' CSV files and show AI review summaries. AfterShip adds custom review questions, NPS surveys, referrals and Q&A, mostly on Pro. Vitals includes Google snippets and its AI summary on its one plan, plus order tracking, bundles, post-purchase offers and 40+ other apps.
5. Can Vitals replace AfterShip Product Reviews and AfterShip Order Tracking at the same time?
Yes. The Vitals Product Reviews app covers the reviews, and the Vitals Order Tracker app gives customers a tracking page on your store. The Vitals Product Bundles app and Vitals Upsell Builder app can replace a bundle app and a post-purchase upsell app too. AfterShip Returns and in-checkout offers from AfterShip Personalization have no Vitals match, so keep those apps if you use them.
6. Do AfterShip Product Reviews alternatives affect store speed?
Apps can each add scripts to your pages, so how many you install matters alongside which ones. Vitals - All in One App loads reviews, tracking and its other apps from one script, while single-purpose apps each load their own. We didn't benchmark load times for these apps, so test your own pages before and after the move.
7. Which AfterShip Product Reviews alternatives have AI features or MCP support?
Not all of them. Vitals shows an AI Review Summary, and ChatGPT or Claude can use Vitals MCP to read review data and change Vitals app settings. Okendo has a read-only MCP server on its Growth plan, and AG has an MCP server that can approve and reply to reviews, though AG's listing names no built-in AI features. CWILL, Rivyo, Loox and Stamped offer AI features such as summaries, visual sorting or sentiment analysis but list no MCP support, and Ryviu lists neither.
8. How do I move my reviews from AfterShip Product Reviews to Vitals?
Export all reviews to CSV from AfterShip's All Reviews page and wait for the emailed file. Import it in the Vitals Product Reviews app under From other review apps, then set requests to go out after delivery. Test the widgets on a duplicate theme, remove AfterShip's blocks and leftover theme files, switch off its emails and uninstall.
