Show your best sellers in a Trending now carousel with Trending Products
The new Trending Products app shows a "Trending now" carousel of the products selling best in your store, so shoppers see what is popular without you choosing anything. Vitals builds the list from your own orders.
What's new
- Where it shows. On product pages and the cart page, and on your homepage from Position → advanced options.
- Settings. Number of products, title, card and carousel style, discount label, add to cart, stars, wishlist and translations, plus an Analytics tab.
- Shoppers. A "Trending now" carousel. Products with options open a small "Choose options" window.
How it works
The list is recalculated once a day from the last 14 days of orders. Products that sold 3 or more units and grew 20% or more come first, then best sellers fill the list up to 15. New stores see Shopify's best sellers until there is data. Sold-out and hidden products, and the product being viewed, are left out.
The list is automatic, so you can't choose the products (Related Products is the one for hand-picked). A change can take up to about 48 hours to reach the storefront. There is no theme editor app block yet, so you place it from Position or with the HTML snippet from the Help Center.
