Show review text in your product page HTML with Product Reviews

You can now print your newest published reviews as plain text in the product page HTML, so search engines and other crawlers can read them without running scripts.

Until now, review text only loaded through the reviews widget's script.

It takes two steps, and both are needed. First, tick Show review text in the page HTML under Product Reviews → Settings → Publishing and SEO, and save. It is off by default. Then, in the theme editor on your product template, add the Review text preview block (Add section or Add block → Apps) and save the theme.

Each product then shows its newest published reviews (stars, name, date and review text) under a "What customers say" heading, with a "See all reviews" link to the full widget. Set how many show, from 1 to 5 (the default is 3).

(The setting alone shows nothing without the block, and a product with no published reviews shows nothing. Stores with several product templates need the block on each one. The heading and link text are edited in the block's settings and are not translated automatically. This makes the review text readable in the page HTML; it does not promise a ranking change.)
