Show delivery dates and a timeline in Shipping Information rate texts
In Dynamic shipping rates mode, Shipping Information can now show estimated delivery dates instead of durations, and an optional timeline above the widget text.
What's new
- Dates instead of durations. Rate texts accept a new variable, {{ date }}, so "in 10 to 17 business days" becomes "Estimated delivery Oct 24 – Nov 2".
- Delivery dates card. The dates follow your processing time, cut-off time, the days your store processes orders, the days the carrier delivers and your date format. Business days and weeks count only the days the carrier delivers.
- Delivery timeline. Under Appearance → Delivery timeline, turn on Show (it is off by default) to add three steps above the widget text: Order confirmed, Shipped and Delivered. Shipped uses the earliest delivery date and Delivered the latest. It works in both modes, and the step names are translatable.
- No more "for orders over 0". A free rate with no minimum order now has its own text, Free shipping text template (no minimum order), in the Format card. You can edit it like the other rate texts.
How it works
Everything is under Shipping Information → Settings. Each visitor sees the rates for their own country, so you can show a different delivery window per country. Delivery time per rate is still set under Shipping zones in the module.
