Limit the Wishlist to logged-in customers and set its heading sizes
You can now show the Wishlist to logged-in customers only, and set the size of the Wishlist page title and subtitle yourself. Both start out as your Wishlist works today, so nothing changes until you switch them.
Until now, keeping the Wishlist for account holders needed custom code, and resizing the page headings needed Custom CSS.
What's new
- Logged-in customers only. In Wishlist → Settings → Visibility, at the top of the page, choose Logged-in customers only. Guests see no Wishlist hearts, buttons or header icon. The default is Everyone.
- Title and subtitle font size. In Wishlist → Settings → Wishlist page, right below Page title and Page description, set Title font size and Subtitle font size in px or rem. Auto-detect, the default, keeps your theme's heading size.
How it works
- Guests who open a wishlist. A guest who opens the Wishlist page or a shared wishlist is asked to log in, then brought back to the page.
- Customer accounts. Your store needs customer accounts turned on in Shopify, or nobody can log in to see their wishlist.
- Existing Custom CSS. The new settings cover size only, so font family and color still need Custom CSS. If your store already has a Custom CSS rule that forces the title or subtitle size, it overrides the new setting, so remove it first.
