Discount the cheapest item automatically in Upsell Builder BOGO offers

BOGO offers in Upsell Builder can now work like Shopify's own Buy X, get Y: the reward goes to the cheapest qualifying items in the cart, so customers get the deal without a claim step.

What's new

Under the reward of a BOGO offer, tick Discount the cheapest item automatically. The checkbox shows only when the offer has a single reward tier. You find it in Apps → Upsell Builder, in the offer's settings.

How it works

Once the cart holds enough qualifying items, the cheapest ones get the reward at checkout. With a Buy 2, get 1 free offer, 3 items make the cheapest one free, and 6 items make the 2 cheapest free.

Only items from the offer's reward selection can be the free one, so anything outside it stays full price. Bundles customers claim through the widget work as before, and both can be rewarded in the same cart.

For example, you run a Buy 2, get 1 free offer on t-shirts and a customer adds 3 from the product page. The cheapest of the three is free at checkout, with no claim step.

It is off by default and set per offer (nothing changes on your store until you tick it and save the offer).
