Change Vitals apps and edit Upsell Builder offers from Claude or ChatGPT

If you've connected Claude or ChatGPT to Vitals, you can now ask it to change your apps, draft new Upsell Builder offers and edit the offers you already have. Nothing goes live until you review it and press Save.

What's new

• Change your apps. Ask things like “Turn on Sticky Add to Cart” or “Show Product Reviews only on my snowboards”. The assistant can read and change an app's settings, switch it on or off and choose which products it shows on.
• Draft Upsell Builder offers. Ask “Make a bundle: buy any 2 snowboards, get 15% off”. The assistant looks up your real products and collections, fills in the offer and gives you a review link. It works for every offer type.
• Edit offers you already have. Ask it to raise a discount, add a product, change a headline or rewrite the texts on an existing offer.
• Check your plan and size charts. Ask for your plan, usage meters and billing cycle, or which size charts exist and where they appear.
• Report a bug. Describe it to your assistant, which writes it up and posts it to your Vitals support conversation after you confirm the exact text (up to 5 per store per day).

How it works

The review link opens the Upsell Builder editor in your own Shopify admin, already filled in, on the right store when several are connected. Every field the AI filled or changed is outlined in purple, and a field loses its outline as soon as you change it. Nothing changes on your store until you press Save. If you leave without saving, the offer stays exactly as it was.

Offers you don't save appear under Upsell Builder → Generated Prompts. Only the assistant's latest proposal for an offer is kept. If you or a teammate edit the offer before opening the link, the proposal is refused as out of date so it can't overwrite newer work, and the assistant reads the offer again and proposes again. Each store can make up to 30 offer proposals a day.

Changes only happen for apps you gave write access to when you connected. The assistant only changes settings that can be set back. It never deletes anything, sends anything to shoppers or publishes anything, and it never switches an offer on or off. For those it gives you a link to do it in the admin.
