Add a review QR code to packing slips in Product Reviews
You can now print a review QR code on the packing slip of every order, so the review request arrives in the parcel with the product. It is off by default, so nothing changes until you turn it on.
A merchant asked for this one, so we built it.
What's new
The customer scans the code, confirms their order email, picks a product from that order and leaves a review marked Verified. The code prints on Shopify's own packing slip, so there is nothing to print by hand.
What you need to do
- Turn it on. Product Reviews → Settings → Write a review → Packing slip QR code. Tick Print a review QR code on packing slips and save. The Write a review page must be on.
- Add the code to your packing slip. Select Copy code and paste it into Shopify's packing slip template, below the order items. The card's Edit packing slip template button opens it.
How it works
- New orders. The QR code is added to orders placed after you save the setting, and it works for orders placed in the last 60 days.
- Other languages. If your store sells in other languages, also paste the code into each language's packing slip template in Translate & Adapt.
