Ask for reviews one step at a time in Product Reviews
Product Reviews now has a multi-step Write a review form: a pop-up that asks shoppers one thing at a time, from the star rating to photos and a thank-you screen. The single-step form stays the default, so nothing changes until you switch.
What's new
Choose it under Product Reviews > Settings > Write a review > Layout > Form layout, then save. The preview steps through every screen of the form, so you can check each one before shoppers see it.
- One step at a time. Shoppers go from the rating to the review, a few details about themselves, photos and videos, then a thank-you screen.
- Low-rating support message. When a shopper picks 1 or 2 stars, the form can show a message with a Contact us button that opens your store's contact page.
- Rating labels. Show text under the stars, such as "Dislike it" and "Love it", and edit it to fit your store.
- Your colours and text. Set the form text and background colours, the button colours, and the title of each step.
How it works
The multi-step form opens from the Write a review button in your reviews widget, on the Write a review page, and from the review links in your review-request emails. As before, it shows only while the Write a review button is active, and your photo, video and email settings apply to it.
(Switching back to single-step is instant and keeps all your review settings.)
